The Golf Club
Lamberhurst Golf Club is a friendly members' club founded in 1890, which is owned and run by its members for its members, and has one of the finest parkland golf courses in Kent.
The Golf Course
Our 6,448 yard 18-hole course boasts glorious views of Kent's rolling countryside and runs through parkland of outstanding beauty on both sides of the River Teise. It provides golfers with some real challenges, with the course's subtle slopes and undulations testing even the lowest of handicappers. The quality of our fairways and greens are well known locally and kept in superb condition by our dedicated and professional team of groundstaff.
After golf it's time to relax in the welcoming atmosphere of our clubhouse, choosing from either the lounge or spike bar, restaurant or the sun terrace to enjoy a well earned drink or be tempted by the range of delicious freshly-prepared meals and snacks. Before your round, or indeed after, why not try our short game practice area.
The club runs a variety of golf events, competitions and club matches, which gives members the chance to meet new people and visit other clubs, as well as a range of social events including race nights, quizzes and dances for the enjoyment of golfers and social members alike. Societies return year after year and we provide a number of tailor-made packages to ensure our guests can plan their perfect day. Visitors and member's guests are always welcome - look out for seasonal offers.
Our thriving Ladies' and Vets' sections offer weekly competitions and welcome both experienced golfers and beginners. If you are a beginner, or just wish to hone your skills, then our club professional will be pleased to help. He and his wife run a well-stocked Pro Shop, renowned for its range of ladies and menswear, and can cater for all your needs. Our assistant professional teaches golfers of all abilities but has made the teaching of juniors his speciality.
