BOOKINGS
- Numbers are not limited but a society in excess of 32 players must notify the office so that an extended tee reservation may be made. A society of less than 15 may be expected to share the tee reservation and catering facilities with a society of similar size. A small society may reserve the dining room exclusively but a minimum number of 15 will be charged for. Full dining facilities will not be available after 6.00 pm to societies of less than 15 people.
- The rate for the full day is £71.00 per person, which includes 36 holes, bacon roll and coffee on arrival, a light lunch and a 3 course evening meal. Other packages are available as per our published rates or as quoted. The Club reserves the right to vary the rate at any time without notice. Societies will be invoiced on a full day per person basis (£71.00) and no credits given unless arranged prior to the day with the Secretary's Office. The minimum society charge is £40.00 per person.
- A deposit of £100 is required and must be returned with the booking FORM duly completed and signed. The deposit is non-returnable but will be offset against costs on the day.
- The menu choice should be completed together with the anticipated numbers before the booking form is returned. The Office (01892 890591) should be notified of anticipated numbers at least one week before the visit and the correct numbers 48 hours before, please do not leave messages with either the Pro Shop or the Clubhouse. This is the minimum number that will be invoiced, should we not receive a phone call the anticipated numbers will be the minimum invoiced.
- Please note that payment may be made by cheque, cash or debit/credit card. The use of a credit card will incur a surcharge.
- Any buggies required should be booked through the Pro Shop (01892 890552).
THE CLUB HOUSE
- Your members must use the Visitors' Car Park, which is clearly marked, i.e. the second entrance on the right.
- Golf shoes or soiled clothing must not be worn in the Lounge.
- Jacket and tie must be worn in the dining area for Dinner.
LAMBERHURST GOLF CLUB DRESS CODE
We would ask members and visitors to respect our dress code.
COURSE, PRACTICE AREAS, PATIO AND SPIKE BAR
All members, visitors and guests are required to wear formal golf attire. Clothes must be worn in a proper manner. On the course and practice areas shirts must be tucked-in (except ladies' shirts with specially tailored waists); socks must be worn with shorts ; shorts/skirts should be tailored and cut close to the knee.
The following are not permitted: T-shirts; shirts without collars (except mock collars); shirts cut above waist level; beach or elasticated shorts; blue denim; tracksuits or similar; trousers tucked into socks; caps back to front; any other form of dress deemed to be inappropriate. NB No head gear in the spike bar.
LOUNGE BAR & DINING ROOM
Smart-casual' dress and appearance as a minimum.
The following are not permitted at any time: Golf shoes; wet or soiled clothing; hats or caps; any clothing not allowed on the course, practice area, patio and spike bar; other inappropriate forms of dress.
Jacket & Tie must be worn by men for representative matches and any other events specified by the Captain.
Exceptions may be made for Dining & Social Visitors.
Club staff have been authorised to ensure that these rules are followed and will refuse service to anyone not complying with the Code but it is the responsibility of all members to comply with the detail and the spirit of the rules and to ensure that other members and guests do so as well.
The 1st tee will be reserved for up to one hour from 9.00am and again from 2.15 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays the 1st tee will be reserved for up to one hour from 8.30 am and again from 2.00 pm. NO FOUR BALL PLAY IS ALLOWED ON TUESDAY MORNINGS. All players must start from the 1st tee, please be on the tee promptly. Play must commence at the start of the tee reservation time.
- Rules relating to the Practice Ground must be strictly observed.
- All players should be established golfers and have a handicap certificate from a recognised club or society. Outright beginners will be refused admission to the Course and we reserve the right to ask for handicap certificates on the day.
- Wide wheeled trolleys only are permitted.
- All players must have their own bag and clubs.
- Proper golf clothing must be worn. Please see the enclosed Dress Rules with reference to both the Course and the Clubhouse. Any infringement of the Dress Rules will be referred to the society organiser.
Public Liability and Accidental Damage Insurance. This is compulsory and is included in the fees quoted. VISITING GOLFERS INSURANCE SCHEME (see ticket for details) COVERING:
