The Vets' Captain Mike Edwards held his 2011 Captain's Day on Monday 20th June. Finely positioned between heavy overnight rain and late afternoon drizzle, sixty three golfers made their way to the course.

On their way round everyone enjoyed the fine hospitality kindly provided by the wives of the Captain and his Vice Captain before returning to the Clubhouse for a well earned sandwiches and chips.

In a closely fought contest the overall competition was won by Derek Pudney, seen left receiving his prize from Mike, with 41 points. Division One was won by Peter Mentessi with 40 points with Gordon Bull winning Division Two with 39 points.
