Thursday was a very succesful day for Lamberhurst Golf Club with two of its teams winning trophies in the South Eastern Golf Association knock-out competitions as follows:

Sundridge Park Trophy for golfers of handicap six and over - beat Cherry Lodge 5-3 at Mid Kent GC.

Royal Blackheath Trophy for golfers of handicap 15 and over - beat West Kent 6-2 at Royal Blackheath GC.

Many congratulations to those who took part in the final and all those others who played in the previous rounds. A picture of the victorious 6+ team is below.

Completing a successful year in the other divisions of the SEGA competitions the 12+ team were narrowly defeated in their final and the 9+ and 19+ teams both lost in the semi-finals.

Congratulations also to the Vets League team who won their league in 2011 and go on to compete in the Kent finals at Ashord in October.
